I’m not exactly sure what this post is or if it’s going to be the beginning of some kind of series on the blog but I really really wanted to share the message this girl is trying to get across and I felt it deserved it’s very own post.
I’ve never met Em, we’ve never chatted, never met, and yet her video touched me and made me realize how crummy society can be sometimes. If you haven’t seen it or heard of it, you will have now. You Look Disgusting – a debut film by Em of My Pale Skin showing the reality and sometimes very harsh world we live in. I absolutely adore this video and I’m not going to lie when I say I still watch it like once a week to remind myself to try to be kind, to myself and others.
Now, while I may not agree with the products she uses as they’re not all natural, toxin-free ones – that’s not the point of this post. I just wanted to share a positive message to help anyone who may be struggling with being kind to themselves or others. We may or may not realize that words are very hurtful and should be chosen carefully.
